Our Founder and CEO, Terri Hoffman, was selected as one of forty Mentors for the 2018 Houston Bizwomen Mentoring Monday event.
The Event
The 2018 Houston Bizwomen Mentoring Monday took place in the Century Ballroom at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Houston. Attendees were given the opportunity to cycle through the 40 mentors in speed-dating style, ten-minute increments to network and ask questions. The micro-coaching sessions had a maximum of 5-6 attendees at each table, which encouraged the attendees to build their questions off one another.
The event had 175 attendees in total and a wide range of industries were well-represented with both the event-goers and mentors.

As a female business-owner, Terri Hoffman was honored to have been selected as one of the mentors for Bizwomen Mentoring Monday in Houston. It is interesting to see and hear that most of the women attending the event were experiencing similar issues and had comparable questions, regardless of their industry and/or position. For Terri, the experience demonstrated how important event’s like Bizwomen Mentoring Monday are female entrepreneurs.
Throughout the morning, Terri made several strong connections that she believes will benefit both her and the other individuals. The connections will help both parties learn and grow-which was precisely the goal of the Bizwomen Mentoring Monday event.
